A week and a half, 5d12hr on server currently. SCP Selection Which SCP are you applying to play? (e.g., SCP-049, SCP-173) SCP-682 "Hard to Destroy-Reptile" Provide a brief description of this SCP’s rules. (50+ words) This section tests your knowledge of the SCP and its roleplay requirements. SCP-682 is a KETER-class SCP and is an extremely hostile being, it presents as an enormous, nearly indestructible reptile that holds a hate for all life. SCP-582 is an intelligence, highly aggressive being that is also resistant to most physical harm, making it virtually impossible to kill. SCP-682 will always breach, there is no maintainment protocol for SCP-682. In order to breach, the person playing 682 must advert that it is becoming active within its' containment cell. SCP-682 may breach after a full hour after said advert. SCP-682 may be recontained in multiple ways, 1. SCP-682 will automatically become passive after 20 minutes of a breach unless it is provoked (shot, threatened, disrespected, etc) 2. SCP-682 will also become passive when at 10% of its' total body mass. 3. SCP-682's hostility may be neutralized by SCP-999 with tickling, but there is a roll involved. SCP-682 is extremely hostile and will attack all living things it sees until it become docile, SCP-682 once reaching one of the pre-reqs for recontainment must be escorted back to his cell by 3+ people and recontained. SCP-682 may speak but only in a menacing tone, it must return to its' CC when docile, may not enter D-Block and may not team with other SCPs or breach other SCPs. This SCP requires 10 combatives to breach. How would you roleplay your chosen SCP during a containment breach scenario? (100+ words) Initially, I would start by adverting my breach sequence using the advert provided in the SCP Rules. I'd move quickly out of my chamber once the 60 minute timer is up and move to terminate anyone that stands in the way of me. SCP-682 is extremely hostile and I would act as such. Since SCP-682 does have a voice, I would probably utilize a soundboard in order to add immersion to the breach. I would not team with other SCPs due to the rules of the SCP and would fight with other SCPs if granted. My behaviour on SCP-682 would follow all rules of the SCP and will comply with the proper procedures on maintaining, breaching, and containing this SCP. Server Rules Knowledge Summarize the key server rules related to roleplaying as an SCP. (Refer to the OdysseyRP SCP-RP server rules at https://odysseyrp.xyz/topic/10-scprp-server-rules/#comment-13) Focus on rules about roleplay conduct, such as avoiding FailRP, respecting containment procedures, and maintaining immersion. I stated this above. " SCP-682 will always breach, there is no maintainment protocol for SCP-682. (50+ words) Explain your motivation and how you believe you can enhance the server’s roleplay experience. I'd like to play SCP-682 "Hard to Destroy-Reptile" because I think it is definitely an SCP that creates a ton of Roleplay for the Mobile Task Force to do, the breach itself creates a moment of uptime for MTF. Otherwise, 682 has been having a ton of tests done to it recently and I would like to be able to participate in that other than just breaches, I think the RP being doing with SCP-682 is extremely important to the story line of the server but also important in creating an immersive experience for researchers as well as the rest of the community. How will you handle situations where another player breaks roleplay rules while interacting with you as an SCP? (50+ words) Describe how you will stay in character and report issues appropriately (e.g., using the in-game report function or contacting moderators via Discord). If a player is breaking roleplay rules while interacting with me, SCP-682, as an SCP, I would try my best in order to clip and collect any evidence relevant to the situation in order to be able to send that to staff if the situation continues. Before it escalates to that, I would try to attempt to tell the player in LOOC (.//) that he/she is not allowed to do the action regarding the SCP. Acknowledgment By submitting this application, I confirm that I have read and understood the OdysseyRP SCP-RP server rules (https://odysseyrp.xyz/topic/10-scprp-server-rules/#comment-13). I agree to follow these rules and understand that failure to comply may result in removal of my SCP role privileges or further consequences.

(50+ words) This section tests your knowledge of the SCP and its roleplay requirements. SCP-3199 is a KETER-class, extremely violent and dangerous entity, the SCP is a humanoid, hairless entity which is capable of reproduction under certain circumstances. SCP-3199 is hostile towards all other forms of life. Maintenance is not required for this SCP but every 20 minutes a checkup is required, the SCP Breach time for 3199 is 20 minutes after an advert starting said timer. The containment protocol on SCP-3199 is a straight termination, 3199 cannot be "unenraged" after breach and must be terminated to recontain, the Cell must also be closed prior to termination in order to maintain containment. This SCP has no rules regarding FearRP and will not follow FearRP. The SCP may not speak, enter D-Block unless previously enraged by someone inside, and may not team with any other SCPs as it is violent to all other forms of life. This SCP required 3 combatives on-site in order to breach. How would you roleplay your chosen SCP during a containment breach scenario? I'd like to play as SCP-3199 "Humans, Refuted" because I'd like to create more opportunities to test on the SCP for researchers . I'm also interested in this SCP because I admire the blatant hostile behaviour and playstyle that it possesses. SCP-3199 is also an SCP that isn't commonly seen on SCP servers and I'd like to have the chance to roleplay as this SCP. 3. +Support Like you, I've also been on the server for just over a week. I've seen you on consistently and you've behaved yourself really well on the server, I am interested in your event ideas and I like the dedication to create a entirely custom MTF and GOI, I think events like those are something that will really engage the community and bring a light to the GOI's that they aren't getting right now, you've helped during passive RP situation as well and I really appreciate the dedication to the server and its' community. So for that you get my full support, I wish you luck in receiving this role.
  4. Edit : I now have 30 Hours on the server, it will not let me edit the thread.

MOTIVATION AND SKILLS Why do you want to join the OdysseyRP staff team? (Minimum 150 Words) I’m interested in joining the moderation team because I genuinely want to support and contribute to the growth of the server and the SCP:RP community. My goal is to help create a more enjoyable, welcoming, and fun environment for both new and returning players, similar to how it felt during the earlier days of SCP:RP. I don’t want to be someone who simply watches others do the work; I want to actively assist the staff team in resolving issues, maintaining order, and making sure everyone is having a good time. I’ve noticed that there are times, especially late at night when staff presence is limited, and I’d like to help fill that gap to ensure the server runs good at all hours. Becoming a part of the staff team would not only give me the opportunity to be more engaged and involved with the community, but also help me grow in terms of understanding the server rules and how to handle situations from an administrative perspective. I'm committed to making the server a fun, respectful, and safe place for everyone to enjoy. What skills or qualities make you a good fit for our staff team? (e.g., communication, conflict resolution, roleplay knowledge, etc.) (Minimum 150 Words) I believe I should be accepted into the staff team because I’m a friendly, approachable person who genuinely enjoys helping others. Whether it’s answering questions or assisting players who need guidance, I’m always willing to step in and lend a hand where I can. I strive to remain fair and unbiased in any situation, and I take pride in my ability to do so, which help me work well with both players and fellow staff members. My goal is to contribute to making the server a more welcoming and enjoyable space, especially for new players who are just joining the community. I’m dedicated and passionate about SCP:RP as a whole, and I always treat everyone with respect. 5. SCENARIO QUESTIONS (Provide detailed responses to the following scenarios) Scenario 1: A player is breaking roleplay rules (e.g., FailRP) in a public area. How would you handle this? (Minimum 50 Words) Firstly, I would try to gather as much evidence as I can or just observe the situation directly in order to confirm the FailRP accusation. Once I've done that, I would move the player to a sit room and explain to them which rule they were breaking and why it's important to follow these guidelines. Depending on the severity of the FailRP, I would let the person off with a verbal just so they can understand for next time, or formally log a warning for said person. Scenario 2: Two players are in a heated OOC argument in chat about a rule violation. What steps would you take? (Minimum 50 Words) I would step in to de-escalate the situation, inform both players that they should utilize the ticket system in order to handle in-game violations and if they continue to do so. I'd pull each player to a sit room individually to hear both sides of the story, gather any applicable evidence regarding the violating and decide on a decision based on the evidence. I'd also remind them to use proper channels next time to address rule violations. Scenario 3: A player reports another for suspected cheating (e.g., aimbot). How would you investigate and proceed? (Minimum 50 Words) If there is currently an Anti-Cheat on the server, I would utilize the built in screen-grabbing system to view their gameplay first hand, if not I'd try to gather any evidence such as video or screenshots from other players, I'd also spectate the player to see if there is any abnormal behavior (snapping to heads, looking at other players through walls, etc) If it is confirmed to be cheating, I would call a superior member to issue a ban to member after having presented the evidence. 6. AVAILABILITY Weekly Availability: (Describe when you are typically available to moderate, e.g., weekdays, weekends, specific hours.) Since it's summer, I'd be able to be active everyday for a while, the only time this would vary is when I have work. 7. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Anything else you’d like to add? (Optional: Share extra details, skills, or reasons why you’d be a great staff member.) N/A.
