Applicant Information

  • In-Game Name: GSC MEDSEC LT Pouch

  • Discord ID: 777114956792594432

  • Steam ID76561198413874190

  • How long have you been playing on the OdysseyRP SCP-RP server? I'd say about two weeks or so, maybe more.

SCP Selection

  • Which SCP are you applying to play? SCP-939

  • Provide a brief description of this SCP’s rules. (50+ words) SCP-939 must request a D-Class every 5 minutes, up to 30 minutes. If no D-Class is received in the 30min timespan, it can breach. It follows movement and sound, not visuals, and ignores FearRP. 939s must be together during breaches, cannot share the D-Class feed timers, and must be terminated to be recontained. It may only speak to lure people, and break through doors if it senses or hears something on the other side, and reach the surface. It can't enter D-Block or attack other SCPs, it ignores them but is very scared of 682. It’s immune to tranquilizers. GOC (I'd assume CI now) can breach it but not utilise it. It also must passively walk unless it hears sounds like a gunshot or footsteps, it has to run to the area it heard it.

  • How would you roleplay your chosen SCP during a containment breach scenario? (100+ words) If I breached as SCP-939, I would remain passive, walking slowly (alt c) unless I heard movement or noise. I would only run toward the source of sound like footsteps, gunfire, or speech. Not directly to players to the players, since 939 only reacts to where the sound is heard, not the source. I wouldn’t actively hunt or roam with intent to kill either unless breaching with other 939s. My behavior would stay true to 939’s blind, reactive nature. If I’m terminated, I won’t leave the chamber again unless the containment door is fully closed. If it is open, I'm allowed to rebreach properly. Otherwise, I’d flag off and wait.

Server Rules Knowledge

  • Summarize the key server rules related to roleplaying as an SCP.
As SCP-939 you cannot be feared rped, or utilised by hostile forces (including the scp foundation). To avoid failrp, you must follow the rules including staying in character, only reacting to sound, only opening doors if you hear something on the other side, ignoring other SCPs, acting scared when you see 682. In general as an SCP, you can't enter D-Block unless a gamemaster or event allows it. This also includes not being allowed to free other SCPs unless being permitted to do so by a gamemaster or scripted event. During tests you can try escaping or make it difficult for the researchers, the goal after 5 mins of being breached is to escape to surface, and if you break rules as an SCP you get a 24 hr ban and a 7 day scp role ban.

Additional Questions

  • Why do you want to play as this SCP?
I want to be there for tests, add dynamic to the rps around me if I breach, and genuinely create an SCP Foundation environment. By playing as the SCP, personnel will have to maintain me, enhancing their experiences. If there are other 939s on, I would like to try and breach so that combative forces get some action too.

  • How will you handle situations where another player breaks roleplay rules while interacting with you as an SCP?
I would report it in-game using the ticket system, state the players name, and issue. If it comes to having to report it over Discord, I'd make a ticket first and wait for a response. Then I'd contact one of the online moderators that are also in-game and describe the issue. Until then, I'd halt the rp and say that they broke roleplay rules and we need a moderator before continuing so that no more rule breaks happen.
