Section 3: Scenario Questions
A Junior Researcher wishes to test on a Euclid-class SCP without proper documentation. How do you respond?
- He can test on any SCP he wants ONCE he submits the test request, if he does it anyway it's a strike since he would have been told to not do it until then.

How would you improve overall Research Department activity and RP quality?

- I went over this a bit in vision as it's my main goal to improve quality and activity, but to re-iterate I would redo a lot of document templates or create them, recruit players, and engage in projects that give new tech to the other branches or give SCP's rp to make Research more likeable and thus more likely for people to join. 

How would you handle a Researcher who is continuously breaking protocol after multiple warnings? 

- Simple, they get a strike or if I had already given them 3 strikes, they are removed from the branch and blacklisted for a period of time; if it was an issue that isn't worthy of removal demotion.

 

Section 4: Vision and Goals
Why do you want to become the Director of Research?

What are your short-term and long-term goals for the Research Department? 
- Short Term goal is to redo/create new documents such as the SOP, Test templates, Ect. to make them look nicer and be more presentable while also perma propping things into the RA spawn since it's quite barren right now. As well as to do a number of tests myself just to get the ball rolling. 
- Long Term is to get at least 2-3 people on during peak hours to RA and get at least 4 tests or projects per week. This will be likely done by recruiting players and doing projects with other branches to make the Research Department stand out and seem more interesting in RP through the creation of new technology, cross tests that involve most of the server, or other high profile aims that will bring people into Research. 

What makes you stand out compared to other applicants?

- Experience, I have Research officer experience in the 3rd largest SCP server, NCO experience in the second, and officer experience in a former server of similar size to Odessey (a bit larger though) My main goal is to help this server do well since the more people playing the genre the better for everyone especially in the summer as it gets the genre group closer to the top where new players may find it.
