SERVER INVOLVEMENT Estimated Playtime on OdysseyRP (in hours): 2-7 hours How long have you been part of the OdysseyRP community? (e.g., weeks, months): 3-4 months What roleplay roles or activities are you most involved in? (e.g., jobs, factions, events): I am mostly involved as being the Site Director of Odyssey RP 3. STAFF EXPERIENCE Previous Staff Experience (if any): (Include server names, roles, duration, and responsibilities. If none, state "None.") None 4. MOTIVATION AND SKILLS Why do you want to join the OdysseyRP staff team? (Explain your motivation and how you can contribute to the community.) I want to join the OdysseyRP staff team stems from a genuine passion for creating immersive and enjoyable roleplay experiences. As an active community member, I’ve seen the potential OdysseyRP has for storytelling, creativity, and community-building, and I want to contribute to maintaining and improving that environment What skills or qualities make you a good fit for our staff team? (e.g., communication, conflict resolution, roleplay knowledge, etc.) I bring a strong set of skills that align well with the responsibilities of staff. First, I have excellent communication skills, both in listening and conveying information clearly, which is key when dealing with player reports or helping new users. I also have experience in conflict resolution and staying calm under pressure critical when tensions run high or when quick decisions are needed. 5. SCENARIO QUESTIONS (Provide detailed responses to the following scenarios) Scenario 1: A player is breaking roleplay rules (e.g., FailRP) in a public area. How would you handle this? I will first observe quietly to see if there's any signs of any rule break like FailRP without alerting the player. If I do see any potential of rule breaking, I will teleport the player to a private area and try to get them away to not distract any other people's RP experience. I would then ask for their side of the story without assuming any guilt towards them. Because I feel like it's best if we know both sides of the stories besides from one side of the story. I would explain that the rule that they broke that is stated within the server rules and why the behavior is considered FailRP. If it's a first time offense or a minor offense, I would give them a verbal warning and then return them to RP. But if it's something that has been repeated and has been known to most staff members that this person is causing trouble, then I will give them a formal warning or a punishment according to the guidelines. Then I would document the incident to staff. Scenario 2: Two players are in a heated OOC argument in chat about a rule violation. What steps would you take? When it comes to two players having a heated discussion in OOC chat, I would step in via OOC or PMs to de-escalate the situation, like, hey, let's pause this. If you guys have an issue with one another, please make a sit about it. If they do make a sit, I will separate both of the players into different sits to prevent further conflict. I will hear both sides of the stories, and if there's any evidence from both sides, I would then review it myself to see what happened. I will review in the logs to determine if there was any rule that was broken. If a rule that was violated, it will be handed appropriately, meaning a warn, a temporary ban, or a verbal warning. And regardless of who is right or wrong, both the players need to remain respectful and using the proper channels if there's any incidents. Scenario 3: A player reports another for suspected cheating (e.g., aimbot). How would you investigate and proceed? First, I will acknowledge the report and see what I am going to be handling. I will monitor the suspected player that is being considered cheating or having some type of hack. If there's any unusual behavior, I will record the evidence myself and I will pull them into a sit, freeze them so nothing can happen, and if they continue and if there is confirmation of the suspected cheating, I would then ban them and tell them why I'm banning them. Then I will submit all the evidence to higher staff and tell them what happened and why the punishment was given. 6. AVAILABILITY Weekly Availability: (Describe when you are typically available to moderate, e.g., weekdays, weekends, specific hours.) Everyday 7.
