What skills or qualities make you a good fit for a GameMaster role? I have always been told that I have a creative mind, that I think outside the box, that I have just what it takes to be an admin.
5. EVENT PLANNING
Describe an example roleplay event or storyline you would create for OdysseyRP: I can imagine a scenario of a mind bending entity with reality altering powers, though not entirely hostile when encountered. Say an ominous voice that trespasses into our reality and lures players into a portal that transports then into a liminal space. (Yes, I've made a whole document for such an event) The players have to go through mazes and puzzles in order to get back to their reality by going back through the portal which is given to them for accomplishing survival.
How would you handle a situation where an event you’re running goes off track? I would try to analyze the conflict and perhaps think fast of a way to use it to my advantage in order to change the event in what ways are compatible with the scenario and setting. If things go wrong before an event happens, then the event can simply be rescheduled.
