Experience and Background Have you held any leadership positions within the server or other servers? I have held several leadership positions on past servers specifically in SCPRP but that does not exclude other RPs like Star Wars or MilitaryRP, mainly in the combative section as a Division Lead / Officer in Infantry, ARC, Star Corp, MTF or GENSEC. More recently, I would have to note that I was a NTF Officer and Alpha-1 RRH on Atlas Uprising and currently a Site Inspector, which is Regional Command (Which is a player obtained position and a power held higher than Site Administration) on Renovation Networks. What experience do you have with administrative or organizational tasks? I have a substantial amount of experience regarding Administrative and Organizational tasks in and out of game for documentation, managing and advising other divisions but I rather not be to directly hands onto a more minor area as micro-managing others is unhealthy. Describe a time you had to handle a conflict or difficult situation as a leader. What was the outcome? I would say a time I had a conflict as a Leader is when I was put into a situation that was crossed between two different factions in my own division that supported one change whilst the other protested it which cause a internal conflict and a personal conflict with my own command. What I decided to do was take a non partisan opinion by looking at the facts and information fed to me to than make a deciding choice for how the division would move forward, but with a logical explanation with alternatives to fix what the opposing side felt is wrong with it, as I felt that way. Which led the division to move on from that topic and move forward with a consensus. Availability and Activity How active are you weekly (average hours per week)? Currently, as I am a graduating senior soon, I can dedicate about 4-8 hours per day if needed to the server itself but nearly all day for out of game issues. Are you able to consistently communicate with Site Administration and other departments? I believe I could as I have no issue in talking to anyone, it is really dependent on first impressions and if they can cooperate with me going forward. Do you foresee any commitments that might interfere with your activity in this role? The only foreseeable issue for my commitment as Site Administration is my role in another server as I noted, a Site Inspector, but I have talked with both sides of management and they seem fine with me currently applying to here and staying with my position on there. I'd like to say though, I have been warned by this servers management that if the time came that it is a possibility to be forced to take either positions solely, but the other server's management is fine with me committing on here as long as I keep a active status on their server as-well which shouldn't affect me at all for both sides. Leadership & Communication What does leadership mean to you? I believe that leadership is broad and multi-defined word as it is comprised of many traits that can make a Leader. For example, a leader with any type of leadership should have the ability to be respectful, honest and have integrity for the bare foundations as who would want to be a follower under a leader who would lie to them, disrespect them as a person and lack the integrity to take responsibility for his own actions. I believe leadership is best demonstrated than written, as there are different approaches to leadership from a strict to friendly approach. How do you plan to support the Site Director and the overall administration? I plan to support the Site Director and the Site's Administration by providing the initiative, imagination and communication that a Deputy Site Director would need. Firstly, I believe that a Deputy Site Director would need the ability to act transparently and intuitively with others in the Site Administration so that the Site itself would move forward without the direct guidance of the Site Director always, because the Site Director himself cannot always be available to provide his support or say in other departments actively as he also needs to tend to more important tasks personally and for the Site itself which is where the Deputy Site Director comes in. Secondly, the imagination that I can provide to support the Site and its administration will undoubtedly enhance the productivity and efficiency on how the Site is ran by a constant flurry of response and communication needed between the divisions to Site Administration as problems are going to be needing creative solutions and approaches to resolve complicated situations that leadership would possibly need a second opinion towards. Lastly, as I somewhat touched upon earlier in this prompt, I plan to provide a transparent and honest communication effort between myself and others that are needing my voice in some way. To explain more upon that, I expect to provide and detail the necessary and full opinion towards topics and issues at hand with solutions if I can conjure up any at the time with detailed reasoning to ensure a mature and attentive attitude towards others as a representation of Site Administration and of the Site Director as their Deputy. How would you ensure transparency and collaboration across Site departments? To ensure transparency and collaboration across the Site, I believe that as the Deputy Site Director that I can and will act as a Liaison between these issues if necessary, as proper communication and encouragement is needed to carry out collaboration between departments. For example, if Research and Security would need a middle man or a voice to project a announcement towards both divisions that requires their cooperation between each other to carry out a project or task than I can say that I am suitable in carrying out that message directly and respectfully to have it heard and performed. Vision and Goals What are your goals as Site Deputy Director? My own goals as the Site's Deputy Director are for a laid out and secure foundation for every department to deploy their roots and ensure a stable start to the first Site Administration, to follow up and ensure a peaceful and hopefully long-lasting reign of the Administration by ensuring issues are dealt with swiftly and the proper management of the departments on the site for them to thrive nigh-autonomously with up to date documentation and procedures. I believe these are realistic and long-term goals that can be done with the success of the Site and the cooperation of those that work around me, which I look forward too. Do you have any ideas for improving Site operations or community engagement? I believe a enforcement of communication, rules and regulations are in need while a engaged administration is in place to also award those that are deserving from the work they put in, I believe the beginning of the Site's Operations lie within the quick implementation of quality documents, communication channels and focused leadership with their own members and their activities. Final Thoughts Why do you believe you're the right person for this role? I believe I am the right person for this role as I have the mindset and confidence in carrying out this role to its fullest extent, I also believe that I am equipped with the knowledge and skillset to not only backup but perform my goals in a short time frame.
